Accessibility statement

t-block.it website — WCAG 2.1 level AA conformance

This is a courtesy translation. In case of doubt or dispute, the Italian text prevails: Dichiarazione di accessibilità (italiano).

Last updated: 19 May 2026

Sistemi Chiocciola srl (T-Block® brand) is committed to making its website accessible, in line with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), Italian Legislative Decree 82/2022 and the technical standards EN 301 549 / WCAG 2.1 level AA.

1. Conformance status

The t-block.it website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA: conformance is substantially achieved on the website's page templates, with some non-blocking limitations listed in section 3, which are being addressed.

This statement is published on a voluntary basis: the operator falls within the exemption for micro-enterprises providing services under Article 3 of Italian Legislative Decree 82/2022. Accessibility is nevertheless pursued as a quality commitment.

2. Requirements met

  • Text contrast meets the AA standard (ratio ≥ 4.5:1) on all light surfaces of the website; the colour palette has been redefined while keeping the brand identity.
  • Semantic page structure (a single <main>, a single <h1>, landmarks with accessible names).
  • Localised "skip to content" link; full keyboard navigation with an always visible focus indicator.
  • Forms with programmatically associated labels and announced errors.
  • Alternative text on informative images; decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
  • The "reduce motion" system preference is respected (prefers-reduced-motion).
  • Consistent content across pages (uniform breadcrumbs and navigation).
  • Pages usable with zoom up to 200% and on mobile devices.

3. Non-accessible content / known limitations

The following items are being brought into line:

  • Technical PDF documents (downloadable product data sheets): not yet fully tagged for accessibility. PDF/UA tagging is planned.
  • Heading level order: on some specific pages a heading level may not progress by exactly one step. This is a good-practice recommendation (not a blocking WCAG success criterion) and is being fixed editorially.
  • Any third-party embedded content, where present, depends on the accessibility provided by the respective services.

4. Assessment method

Conformance was checked with automated testing (the axe-core engine, WCAG 2.0/2.1 A and AA rules) covering all page templates of the website, together with manual checks (keyboard navigation, contrast, structure). The scans are dated, kept in the internal technical documentation and can be repeated.
